Last Sunday, we went to the Chinatown Center at North Lamar Blvd to celebrate the Chinese New Year and take some shots on the festival.

I always wanted to write a post with the pictures of the (interesting) faces, people we met during our trips. On this event, I took a photo from a young man within the lion costume. He made a deep impression on me, so after going thru on all my pictures, I decided to start a series with his face. 

This was my first Chinese New Year celebration. His face and the costume will always make me remember the dances, noise of the drums, smell of the crackers, and particular spirit of this event.
